KINGDOM CHARACTERISTICS: The Evidence of Keeping the Commandments
Works Are Not Random
There is confusion around “works.”
But Scripture is clear:
Works are not man-made efforts.
They are the keeping of the commandments.
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life…”
— Revelation 22:14
Doing = obedience.
Obedience = action.
Action = works.
Faith and Works Are Not Separate
“Faith without works is dead.”
— James 2:26
What works?
Not random behavior.
👉 Keeping the commandments
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments…”
— 1 John 5:3
Love is not just belief.
It is demonstrated through:
👉 obedience
The Law Produces Character
The commandments are not just rules.
They produce a specific type of person.
When someone keeps the commandments, they become:
• disciplined
• truthful
• responsible
• just
• self-controlled
The Evidence Is Visible
“By their fruits ye shall know them.”
— Matthew 7:16
Fruit = evidence.
Evidence of what?
👉 Obedience to the commandments
The Commandments Shape Behavior
Each commandment produces a characteristic:
No other gods → loyalty
No idols → clarity and truth
Not taking His name in vain → integrity
Sabbath → discipline and alignment
Honor parents → order and respect
Do not kill → value of life
Do not commit adultery → faithfulness
Do not steal → honesty
Do not bear false witness → truth
Do not covet → self-control
This Is What a Kingdom People Look Like
When the commandments are kept, the people reflect:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”
— Galatians 5:22–23
These are not separate from the law.
They are the result of living it correctly.
When Commandments Are Ignored
The opposite appears:
“Because lawlessness shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
— Matthew 24:12
Lawlessness produces:
• disorder
• corruption
• instability
• lack of love
Messiah (HaMashiach) and Works
Messiah did not just speak.
He walked in obedience.
“I have kept my Father’s commandments…”
— John 15:10
He is the example of:
👉 commandments lived out
The Real Issue at 250 Years
The question is not:
Do we believe?
The question is:
👉 Are the commandments being kept?
Because belief without obedience produces nothing.
Closing Declaration
Foundation establishes alignment.
Builders restore the breach.
Blueprints reveal the design.
Covenant establishes agreement.
Sovereignty determines authority.
Kingdom establishes structure.
Law defines the standard.
But works reveal obedience.
And obedience produces character.
Reconstruction continues.
And a nation is revealed by the people who keep the commandments.
